To take full benefit out of base scorecards, you can define automatic drill-down to be performed on elements of your choice. With automatic drill-down you can have elements with a matching name and/or identifier to be referenced from lower level scorecards. You can also define how many levels are included in the automatic drill-down. Settings for the automatic drill-down can be defined in the Drill Down tab of the Element Properties window.

BTN_AR131. Open the Dentorex Group Scorecard model.
BTN_AR132. Open the Scorecard Navigator by clicking the Scorecard Navigator button btn_scorecard_navigator on the bottom of the Model Navigator frame.
BTN_AR133. On the Model Navigator frame, click the btn_expand_hierarchy button next to the Dentorex Group scorecard to expand the scorecard hierarchy.
BTN_AR134. On the Model Navigator frame, right-click the Asia Sales Office scorecard and select Create Copy from the pop-up menu:

BTN_AR135. The Scorecard list window will open. Select Asia Sales Office from the list and click OK:

BTN_AR136. Right-click the new Asia Sales Office (2) scorecard, choose Rename from the pop-up menu and type "Southeast Asia Sales Office" as the name.
BTN_AR137. On the Model Navigator frame, double-click the Asia Sales Office scorecard.
BTN_AR138. The Scorecard Properties window opens. Switch to the Attached Scorecards tab.
BTN_AR139. Click Add, select Southeast Asia Sales Office from the window that opens and click OK. The Southeast Asia Sales Office scorecard is now attached to the Asia Sales Office scorecard.
BTN_AR1310. Click the Apply button to apply inheritable attributes from the Asia Sales Office Scorecard to the Southeast Asia Sales Office and answer Yes to the "delete elements" question.
BTN_AR1311. Click the btn_close_element_properties on the top right corner of the Scorecard Properties window to close the window.
BTN_AR1312. In the Scorecard Navigator frame, expand the Customer perspective tree by clicking the btn_expand_hierarchy buttons.
BTN_AR1313. Double-click the Product Image Among Consumers measure:

BTN_AR1314. The Element Properties window opens. Switch to the Drill Down tab.
BTN_AR1315. Select the Enable automatic referencing check box. Since the Asia Sales Office scorecard has only one sub level scorecard, the Drill down depth can be left at 1. Make sure that Reference elements with matching identifier and Remove unmatching reference elements are selected and click Refresh.
BTN_AR1316. The drill down is now defined. Close the Element Properties window by clicking the btn_close_element_properties button on the top right corner of the window.
BTN_AR1317. The Scorecard Navigator hierarchy should now look as in the picture below:
