Syntax Used In Descriptions

 

The following conventions are used in the function descriptions:

1.A | sign indicates a choice, i.e. either one of the alternatives around the pipe sign should be used, not both.

2.Text inside angle brackets indicates a parameter group or a value depending on the context (e.g. model). Unless the text itself is self-explanatory, the valid values are explained within the same chapter or a linked chapter.

3.Parameters inside brackets [] are optional.
