QPR_Shared.ini file is a configuration settings file that is used by all QPR software components. QPR Activation Utility uses QPR_Shared.ini to store the activation server connection configurations and Customer Information. There is a key for every Customer Info field used in the Activation Utility.

 

With QPR 2017.1 it is possible to copy an existing QPR_Shared.ini file with proper Customer Information filled in to be used with installation program. Functionality has made so that if there is a QPR_Shared.ini file located in same directory as QPR2017_Clients_Setup_x86.exe and QPR2017_Servers_Setup_x64.exe (installation packages) installation program will copy that file to the QPR 2017 installation folder. This feature can be used to create 'Custom' installation packages with valid Product Activation Code included in QPR_Shared.ini.
