The following commands are available in the Application menu. The Application Menu can be opened by clicking the btn_application_menu button in the top left corner of the QPR Modeling Client window. The items with an indented description appear in a submenu of the previous unindented item.

 

Server

EA_iconPD_iconThis menu contains all QPR BizArchitecture Servers configured in the Server Connections window that's accessible through the Options dialog. Choose the desired server from the list or select the Offline option to use QPR Modeling Client with file models only. Alternatively, select the Relogin option to login as a different user. Select the Change Password option to change your QPR password.

Server Model

Open

EA_iconPD_iconOpens a common file dialog that user can use for selecting a model to be opened.

Server Model

Save

Save the current model.


Saves the current model if the model is not in the read-only state and saving is done to read/write drive

Save As

EA_iconPD_iconNOTE  This menu item will not contain any submenus if a non-administrator user has a Server model (temporary or a checked-out model) open.

PX_iconSave current model with a new name

File Model

EA_iconPD_iconSave current model with a new name


EA_iconPD_iconSaves current model if model is not in a read-only state and saving is done to read/write drive. Asks a new name for the model.

Server Model

EA_iconPD_iconSave current model to the Server with a new name


EA_iconPD_iconOpens a 'Save to Server as' dialog that the user can use for writing a model name to be saved to the Server.

New Version

EA_iconPD_iconSaves the model as a new version.

File Template

Saves the current model as a template in a file. A dialog will appear in which you can select where and under which name you would like to save the model. Templates can be loaded only when creating a new model.

 

EA_iconPD_iconThe template stores all the model information except for user rights, open views and the changes log in a "*.qprdat" file for reuse.

 

PX_iconThe template stores all the model information except for open views and the changes log in a "*.qprxpt" file for reuse.

Server Template

EA_iconPD_icon

Saves the current model as a template on the server. A dialog will appear in which you can select where and under which name you would like to save the model. Templates can be loaded only when creating a new model. The template stores all the model information except for user rights, open views and the changes log. Server model templates can optionally include the user rights as well. Note that only administrators and model administrators can save a Server model as a template. However, if a Server model uses a base model, it cannot be saved as a file template.

Print

Print the active child window.

Print Preview

Opens the Print Preview dialog.

Page Setup

Change page setup for printing.

Manage

Manage the model.

Properties

Edit or view model properties.

Delete Model

Import XML

EA_iconPD_iconImport XML data into model.

Export XML

EA_iconPD_iconExport XML data from model.

Check Out

EA_iconPD_iconOpens the Open from the Server dialog from which a model can be selected to be checked out of the QPR BizArchitecture Server (i.e. opened in off-line mode).

Check In

EA_iconPD_iconChecks the open model back into the Server. (Only available to users who currently have a model checked out.)

Run Script

EA_iconPD_iconRun a QPR Script.

Close

Close current model

 

Closes current model and asks confirmation for saving if model is not saved before closing.

Recent Models

List of recently used models.

QPR Modeling Client Options

Opens the Options dialog.

Exit QPR Modeling Client

Exit QPR Modeling Client.
