Settings Tab of the Remote Model Import

In the Settings tab of the Remote Model Import window you can select the model that you want to import and define the information for the model.

 

To import a model from another server:

 

1.Open the Integration View dialog by clicking the btn_integration_view Integration View button on the View tab of the ribbon.
2.Select Remote Model Imports from the drop-down list.
3.Click the New... button. The Remote Model Import window opens with the Settings tab displayed.

4.Enter the location of the server (IP or host name). If the server does not use the default port then deselect the "Use default port" check box and enter the desired Port.
5.Click the Connect button to test connection between you and the remote server. The QPR Metrics Login window opens.

Enter the username and password in the login window and click OK. The "User" field in the Settings tab identifies the user.
6.Click the Select model... button to select the Model you want to import. The Select Remote Model window opens.

7.Select the model from the Select Remote Model window and click Select.
8.Enter the Replica model name. You can customize model's name if it is necessary. For example, if there is several locations with a model named "Company Model", it is possible to give more descriptive name in here.
9.To save your Remote Model Import settings, click Save.
10.Click the Import model button to begin importing the model from another server. When the importing is completed, an information window will appear stating whether the import was successful or not.
