Relation connectors can now be set to be drawn automatically. If automatic drawing of connectors is used, group relations are not removed from elements dragged outside the group, but a connector is drawn automatically instead. Automatically drawn connectors can also be hidden while an element resides inside a group.

 

SAP 5/3 is a group element in which all other shown elements belong. PP (Production Planning) resides outside the group, so a connector is automatically drawn.
