QPR Metrics received a handful of improvements for building dashboards.

 

 

Symbol Layout Window Grid and Container

The Symbol Layout window in QPR Metrics now has the Grid and Snap to Grid functionalities that help positioning the layout items.

 

 

In addition, the background container shape in the symbol layout can now be moved and resized.

 

 

 

Transparency Chart Options

It is now possible to embed a chart into a background picture by selecting the Transparent chart area and/or Transparent background options in the Chart Area tab of the Chart Properties window.

 

 

 

More Font Colors to Layout Item Texts

It is now possible to select from more than the 16 colors that previous QPR versions had when choosing the color for the layout item texts. It's also possible to add colors to a custom color list for having a quick selection of commonly used colors.

 

 

 

Multiple Elements on a Chart

The Elements tab of the Chart Properties window shows all the elements and series visible in the chart. Those consist of the element's own visible series, or series added through the benchmarking functionality. In addition to this, the chart may contain other elements/series that you can freely choose from the model.

 

For example, here the Customer loyalty (US East Coast) and Customer loyalty (US West Coast) have been given their own series colors via their own Chart Properties windows. Then the US East Coast and US West Coast elements have been added to the Customer loyalty (USA Sales Office) chart via the Elements tab in the Chart Properties window of the USA Sales Office element:
