The Details Pane is a frame shown on the lower part of some of the views in QPR Portal. On the different tabs of the Details Pane, the detailed information about the selected element is shown. For example, you can select a child diagram, drill down to the child diagram, and see the properties of the selected child diagram on the Details Pane. The actual list of properties shown can be defined by the administrator. See QPR - Developer's Guide for information about the necessary configuration. As information shown in the Details Pane depends on the section of QPR Portal where it is used, details about the functionality can be found in the corresponding section's help, e.g. Diagrams when browsing Diagrams in the Processes tab or in Element View when viewing measure details in the Scorecards tab.

 

To add an Action to the selected element, click the Add Action button.

 

The Details Pane can be resized by dragging the splitter between the pane and the view that is currently open. To minimize or open the Details Pane, use the and buttons on the right side of the pane. You can also set the default Details Pane mode from the Settings page if the control is enabled in QPR Configuration Manager.
