The Matrices view shows all matrix views that are published to QPR Portal from QPR Modeling Client. The left frame lists the published matrix views and the right frame displays the view according to selected QPR Portal view settings.

 

Matrices are mainly used to map relations between elements. If the headers or cells in the actual view contain an element name (the name itself or a relational custom attribute value), those names are links to the corresponding elements and clicking on them opens the element in the details pane. Note that all matrices are read-only in QPR Portal, i.e. their actual contents can be modified only in QPR Modeling Client.

 

Click on the Export to Excel button to export the current view into Microsoft Office Excel. However, if QPR Web Services Foundation is installed, there is an Export to Office link instead of Export to Excel.

 

Click on the Views button to open a view selection dialog in which you can open a dialog for selecting view settings that have been created in QPR Portal. These view settings can be designed using the view designer that can be opened using the Show View Designer button. The Hide Designer button hides the designer once it is not needed anymore.
