Model Properties

To modify the properties of a model, do the following:

 

1.Open the model that you wish to modify.
2.Select Model Properties from the Application menu or Properties from the Model Navigator pop-up menu in the Scorecard Explorer. The Model Properties dialog opens.

3.Make the desired changes in the property fields: Name for the model, Reply address for e-mail notifications, and Description.
4.To archive the model, tick the Archived box. Archiving will reduce memory consumption on server machines (QPR Metrics Server and QPR Web Application Server) but it will also set some limitations on the use of the model:

•model is not available in the QPR Portal,

•model will be displayed only as a root element at the Model Navigator's tree when it is not an active model (scorecards of the model are not displayed),

•creating an inter-model reference to an element of the model is prohibited, and

•if an inter-model reference to an element of the model exists, it cannot be refreshed.

 

5.Click OK. Your changes are now applied to the model's properties.
