The QPR Add-In for Microsoft Office is a Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) extension for Microsoft Word. With the help of the add-in you can create reports from data contained in the QPR system without the need to have any other QPR client applications on the workstation. The add-in requires an HTTP connection to a server computer running QPR Web Services Foundation.

 

In the following chapters we'll go through the process of starting and configuring QPR Add-In for Microsoft Office as well as the steps necessary for creating a report.

 

Note that the QPR Add-In for Microsoft Office is deprecated in the 2019.1.0 release.
