There's now a new boolean server configuration option added to the QPR_Servers.ini under the QPR Email section: UseCommonReplyAddressForPortalNotifications.

If this option is set to 1 (true), then the Reply Address configured in QPR Configuration Manager E-mail settings is also used as the sender address when sending notifications from QPR Portal. This can be used to ensure that the sender address is the same as the address associated with the email account used for sending the notifications.
