By using simulation, an organization can benefit in the following areas:
•Less or no rework after the process is implemented, as the efficiency and functionality of the process can be tested with simulation.
•Larger benefits right from the day one as the process can be optimized to its full potential before actually taking it into use.
•When planning a more experimental and/or uncommon process, simulation is really useful for analyzing the process behaviour, as there may not be any previous experience on or information about such processes.
