The Ribbon in QPR Modeling Client can be customized in the following way:
1.Enable the Ribbon customizations by adding EnableRibbonCustomization=1 key to the [Settings] section in the QPR_Clients.ini file located in the C:\ProgramData\QPR Software\QPR 2023\2023.1\Clients\Settings\ folder.
2.Start a new QPR Modeling Client instance.
3.Click the Customize Ribbon button in the Tools group on the Home tab of the Ribbon.
4.Do the customizations in the Ribbon Customization dialog and close the dialog by clicking the OK button.
5.The Ribbon configuration is stored in the custom.ini file in the C:\ProgramData\QPR Software\QPR 2023\2023.1\Clients\PGScripts\ folder. Rename the custom.ini file to something meaningful, like "Basic.ini" or "Advanced.ini"
6.To change the Ribbon style, add a [RibbonStyle] section to the Ribbon configuration .ini file and add a Style key with a value under it, for example Style=rs2016Tablet. The supported values for the Style key are:
rs2007: Style used in Microsoft Office 2007 Ribbon.
rs2010: Style used in Microsoft Office 2010 Ribbon.
rs2013: Style used in Microsoft Office 2013 Ribbon
rs2016: Style used in Microsoft Office 2016 Ribbon.
rs2016Tablet: A compact and simplified Ribbon.
rs2019: Style used in Microsoft Office 2019 Ribbon. This is the default value.
7.Repeat steps 3-6 until you have created all the needed configurations.
8.Close the QPR Modeling Client client and remove the EnableRibbonCustomization key from the QPR_Clients.ini file.
9.Distribute the ribbon configuration files to end user systems placing the configuration files to the C:\ProgramData\QPR Software\QPR 2023\2023.1\Clients\PGScripts\ folders of the end users.
