Templates can be used in storing and distributing the common model data.
Templates are in fact almost complete models, only user rights, open views and changes log information cannot be saved to templates. Administrators can define a template as a default template when creating a new model or force usage of a certain template with Server models. This is important if organization is using certain modeling notation or common processes that must be used in all models.
