Resource properties affect the simulation in the following way:
•Allocated resources are 'consumed' by process steps and flows when they are activated.
•Resources have the Amount Available property, which restricts the consumption.
•When several process steps or flows need resources simultaneously, priority (simulation property for process steps or flows) controls activation order.
Also different cost properties can be defined for resources, making it possible to analyze cost behaviour of the process in different situations.
