View settings are groups of settings related to how different elements are displayed on the diagram. The following information is stored in view settings:
•Visibility of element types
•Visibility of fields in element types
•State options for expanded child diagrams
•Visibility of connectors with different transfer types
•Measure and case (one of each per view settings) together with number format
•Metrics link settings
Only administrator and model administrator users can create and modify view settings. To change view settings, use the selector button available on the View tab of the ribbon. View settings can be created and modified in the Custom Views dialog.
