An Application Server connection can be opened by selecting the desired server under the Server submenu in the Application menu or by using the Server Connection controls at the bottom left corner of the window. Additionally, if the administrator has forced automatic Application Server connection, all the menu and toolbar items related to connecting to or disconnecting from the Application Server are disabled.
