Notes are textual descriptions in the model. They can be e.g. problems or ideas concerning the model. A note has the following properties:

 name

 description

 connected to note

 connected to diagram, process step or store

A note can be connected to another note, e.g. to describe that this problem is caused by another problem or this improvement idea fixes a certain problem. Note can also be connected to diagram, process step or store to indicate the part of the model to which this note is connected.

When an element that has a note connected to it is deleted, the connected note is deleted only if it does not have a note symbol visible anywhere in the model.
