Apply Template Window
You can specify the elements to which you would like to apply your layout template.
To apply a layout template:
1.
Open the Layout Templates window by clicking the Layout Templates button on the Modeltab of the ribbon.

Select the desired layout template from the list.

Click the Apply To... button. The Apply Template window opens.

Select the elements you want to apply the template to. The following options are available:
All elements: Select this option to apply the template to all the elements in the model.
Elements of type: Select an element type from the drop-down list box to apply the templates to all elements of that type.
Elements with measurement unit: Select elements with a specific measurement unit from the drop-down list box to apply the template to all elements that have the specific measurement unit.
Elements with value setting: Select elements with a specific value setting from the drop-down list box to apply the template to all elements that have the specific value setting.
Elements with period level: Select elements with a specific period level from the drop-down list box to apply the template to all elements that have the specific period level.
Selected elements only: Select this option and click the Select... button. The Select Element window opens. Here you can select the elements that you want to apply the template to. You can add several elements simultaneously by holding down the Shift or Ctrl key.
