Opening Other Windows from the Hierarchy Views

In addition to providing a clear picture of a scorecard's elements, the Hierarchy View allows for easy access to all scorecard information, including that which is not directly displayed in the Hierarchy Views window. From the Hierarchy View, you can open Element windows, and Information Items.

 

 

Opening the Element Properties Window (for the Scorecard)

A compilation measure is associated with every scorecard symbol. The scorecard compilation measure compiles all sub-measure data below the scorecard.

 

To open the Measure Properties window (for a scorecard), do the following:

 

1.Right-click the scorecard symbol. A pop-up menu opens.
2.In the pop-up menu, select the Element Properties option. The Element Properties window opens.

 

 

Opening the Element Properties Window

A compilation element is associated with every perspective symbol. The selected perspective's compilation element compiles all sub-element data below the perspective.

 

To open the Element Properties window (for a perspective), do the following:

 

1.Right-click a perspective symbol. A pop-up menu opens.
2.In the pop-up menu, select the Element Properties option. The Element Properties window opens.

 

 

Opening a Element Properties Window (for Any Element)

The Element Properties window for any element (compilation element or sub-element) allows you to view and work with the element in question.

 

To open an Element window, do the following:

 

1.Right-click on a element symbol. A pop-up menu opens.
2.In the pop-up menu, select Element Properties. The Element Properties window opens for the selected element.
